Okay -- you can turn off the Monty Python voices in your head now.
With fall break clearly in the rear view mirror, life must go on at King. For me, that meant turning in midterm grades, which were due at noon today. This would not have been a problem, except for the tiny fact that I had forgotten to do so much as pick up my grade sheets from the registrar's office before 11:15 AM. Thanks be to God for spreadsheet software; with an old-school gradebook, I would never have completed things in time. In glorious fashion, however, I submitted my stuff a full fifteen minutes before the deadline.
Sandi's day, I regret to report, was not as straightforward. She was supposed to get off work at 2:15 this afternoon; instead, I got my usual 'on the way home' call at almost 4:00 PM. This was not a fortuitous turn of events, to say the least. Compounding the issue, the scheduled short day meant that Sandi did not have a lunch packed for the occasion, so she was quite peckish by the end of her time at the bank. I went out to get something after I arrived at home, and she hit the hay shortly after her Wii Fit training for the evening.
Some good news to contribute, though: our profile is now visible on Bethany's website. Well, it would be if I could access their site right now. Our birthparent letter there is an alpha version, but Sandi is pretty sure we can get that fixed with a minimum of fuss.
I think that sums it up for now. Have a great night, everybody!
