The temperature on my trip to campus this morning was a balmy thirty-three degrees. While the nip in the air definitely accelerated my pace on the journey, I think I will need to dig out my winter coat for the days to come. The rest of my day was pretty uneventful, apart from the convocation speaker who inexplicably had to compete with a radio during his lecture. Have you ever tried to focus on a discussion about skepticism and Christianity while the Beatles play in the background?
Over the weekend, Sandi and I took Ranger to a soccer game. The big guy almost made it to the second half before his excitement required a trip back home. A couple of my students saw him, and his size made an impression. Sandi was also able to (at last) complete Paper Mario, a video game she began playing while we still lived in North Carolina. In case you want to keep score, the game was released two console generations ago.
Take care, everyone!
