I cannot speak for Sandi, but this weekend has been a blur for me. We accomplished quite a bit, which is never something my lazy streak likes to admit. Sandi came home from work yesterday with some wood and brackets to put up some shelves over the doorway to our office from the living room. Unfortunately, we had to run back to Lowe's to buy another piece of wood for one shelf, due to a mishap in drilling for the brackets. Ranger also got a new rug to cover the floor of his kennel, and it almost made it a full day before his teeth found their way through it.
This is but part of an overarching plan to get the house arranged for our Christmas decorations; today, I moved two end tables downstairs to open up the office floor. In addition to lining the new shelves with books, we dropped off a load of stuff at the Salvation Army and deposited a rather massive pile of recyclables. On our way home, we bought a bale of straw for Ranger to use as a bed in the back yard. Finally, I was in desperate need of a haircut; Sandi thinks it is the first I have had since the school year began. That would explain the ridiculous mound of hair which resulted.
Have a great week, everyone!
